Just chew on this for a while

A friend of mine forwarded me this link from Seth Godin’s blog that I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet.

What an interesting take on things.  Kind of reminds me of people talking about looking at a house for 30 minutes before deciding whether or not to make the single largest investment they will make during their lifetime.  How long did you think  about your last job change?  Or, did you just look at the dollars and cents and skip any other thoughts?  Or, were you just happy to get out of your current situation that you didn’t care if you were jumping into the fire?

How much time do you truly spend on things that make a huge impact on your life versus things that don’t?  Is that ratio what it should be, or is it way out of whack?
