Whoa.  If you check out this post I made after the whole Favre debacle there is something very spooky hidden in the analysis.

The Jets are not going to win the AFC East and make it to the Super Bowl with Favre.  They need more than that.  Replacing Pennington with Favre means they’ll probably make the playoffs, as a wild card.  Unless half the Patriots roster gets injured, any team from that division that isn’t coached by some guy named Belichik will not win it.

Sorry, Partiots fans, I didn’t mean to jinx Brady.  Honest!  While I’m not a Patriots fan — I’m getting tired of them showing up in Super Bowls — I do like Brady and I really didn’t want to see him get hurt much less be gone for the year.  And I hope that not half the roster gets injured.  The Pats have suffered enough.  Brady’s talent makes him worth about half the team.
