Unfortunately for my wife, she went to the game against the Astros where Suppan had his worst outing of the season.  Since then, however, he’s been on fire.  He’s 3-0 with a 2.0 ERA.  The guy has always been better in the second half of the season and the Brewers will need him to continue that trend if they want to win the division. 

With the win last night and the Cubs sitting idle, the Brewers picked up 1/2 game and now are down by 3 games.  If they can come out of this road trip within 2 games of the Cubs, it will have been very successful.  Tonight is Sabathia vs. Peavy.  Cy Young award winner vs. Cy Young award winner.  If you like pitching, tune in to the game tonight.  If you like hitting, maybe you want to watch the Olympic boxing matches instead.
