Okay, the Iraqis don’t seem to want us there anymore. They had previously asked us to stay. They feel they no longer need us to keep the peace and they want us to set a timetable on when we’re leaving.
To tha tI say, “Okay. You got it!” Um, wait…maybe not. Okay, wait until we have an election and get some different living on Pennsykvania avenue. Then you might get your wish. Just remember, be careful what you wish for.
It’s funny but I had the same thought after I read that article. Wait! – they don’t want us there. Let’s get out now — I know we can find much better use of the $2 BILLION we’re spending over there every week in this country. Who knows – we’ll need that money to bail out most of the banks in this country.
