Wow. I guess I called this season pretty well after the first half. Here’s the rundown on those predictions:
-
Favre did break the 4,000 yard mark but missed the 30 TD’s by just 2 (unless you count the post season).
-
The Packers only placed 2 defenders in the Pro Bowl instead of 3. I think Barnett and Woodson were robbed. Woodson had a better season than Harris did. Harris deserved it in previous years, so maybe this was kinda like a makeup call by the refs.
-
Green Bay did win the NFC North, they did lose in the NFC Championship game and they had no running game that day. Wow! That one was a bullseye!
-
The Packers did finish 13-3, they did lose one of the games between Detroit and Dallas, and they did lose a fluke game where nothing went right — remember the cold of the second Bears game? Another bullseye!
-
I take little pleasure in getting this one right. Favre did make the Pro Bowl, he did retire, and he did go out on his own terms. Another bulleye, but I could’ve lived with getting this one wrong.
So, I don’t if that first one is a push or not, but even if it’s not that 60% accuaracy. Not too shabby, eh? Don’t you wish the weather men were that good?
