I just get done posting about schmucks making Wisconsin look bad and then I read this article.  Apparently, good ol’ Chuck Woodson wasn’t too keen on coming to Green Bay.  I’ve heard him say in the past that Green Bay was the only team that really pursued him when he was a free agent.  I hadn’t heard him say that he didn’t want to come here because of what he had heard about playing in Green Bay.

After 2 years he now says that Green Bay is not like the stories he had been told.  His experience doesn’t match up.  Hmm…perception and reality don’t match.  That never happens, right?  But, stories like my previous post tend to lend crediblity to all of those bad perceptions.  I’m glad Woodson came here and not just because of his football skills.  He got to personally experience what life is like in Wisconsin, and he discovered that it’s not too bad after all.  The best part is that more people are going to listen to him than they would listen to me.
