So Randy Moss has some allegations against him again. I guess it should not surprise a life long Packer fan that this happened. However, the timing is awfully suspect. Right before the AFC Championship game? Extorsion? Sure smells like it.
But, what I find interesting is the lack of support for Moss. This article basically tells New England, “We told you so. Randy is always a problem. Ha-ha. Jokes on you now.” But, when Vick was initially a suspect in the cruelty charges, there were plenty of people standing up for him. Yes, there were those like yours truly that spoke out against the man before he had his day in court. But, right now — we’ll see if anyone stands up for him in the future — Randy Moss is out there on his own. And in this case, I think Randy might be getting screwed.
Everything about this sure smells fishy. If the allegations are true, then Randy should get whats coming to him. But, the amount of information that is available and the timing of the entire incident suggests to me that this is prehaps someone trying to get some money for nothing.
Randy has always been labeled a problem child and Vick was always this big hero. At least in their public images. So, Vick got the benefit of the doubt and Randy is guilty until proven innocent. Hmm…I guess Randy never should have ran down that traffic officer with his car.
